Sometimes it's good to completely disengage from design work and do something outside your comfort level. At the end of June I ran my first Spartan Sprint in Utah. I'm bruised, cut, and extremely sore, but no broken bones or sprains. Came in 6th in my general age group (30-34), placed 36th in males, and placed 48th overall. Cali and my parents made the long 8 hour drive from Denver to Ogden. I'm so thankful for everyone's support (and even though my wife was in Vegas at a Backstreet Boys concert during the race, she was there in spirit :) Next race is in three weeks in Breckenridge running with a few friends. Must heal up and get ready for the next one -more pics to come!
